FAQ

Quick answers so you can focus on flying.
Will there be water?
Yes, there will be running water available to fill water bottles or jugs for camping.
Will there be porta-johns?
Yes, there will be porta-johns on site.
Will it be open to the public?
Yes, but on the FBO side of the field for watching. The camping area will remain restricted this year to keep campers and equipment more secure.
Will there be a waiver?
Yes. All pilots will need to sign a waiver prior to flying and will be issued a wristband with an emergency number to reach staff who are on call. The waiver link will be posted on the main page once available.
Will there be an airboss?
Yes. The airboss will have a safety vest on and be available when the airfield becomes crowded to help facilitate launch and recovery.
How will I identify ParaJam staff?
All staff members will have bright orange shirts on.
Where do I park my camper?
As we get closer we will post maps of how to enter the airfield and where you are allowed to park. The camping area will be clearly defined to show the boundary with the runway area.
Alcohol / illicit drugs?
Use of illicit drugs or abuse of alcohol will not be tolerated. Those found doing so will be asked to leave. We are on public property with the Rockingham blessing to use their field to enjoy their skies — we will not lose their trust.
Will the asphalt runway be active?
Yes, but only from 2 hours after sunrise until 2 hours before sunset. While the asphalt runway is open, pilots should remain south of the asphalt runway.
No refunds: No refunds for cancellation or weather. All funds will be donated and will go to a good cause.
